BIOGRAPHY

Carla Youbi is a French painter based in New York City, NY. She creates large-scale representational oil paintings of women in symbiosis with the natural world. Her work celebrates the connection between humankind and nature as well as the human body in its unedited form. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design with a major in painting and a minor in drawing. In addition to her studio practice, Carla has been apprenticing as a tattoo artist.
